More recently, the market has evolved to demand greater visibility of the supply chain, quite rightly ensuring they are getting products that have been responsibly sourced and sustainably produced.

In 2021 Sopex introduced a dedicated ESG committee to ensure our sustainability goals are in line with market expectations – and are being met. We tuned our own sustainability strategy to our markets and our customers using the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a base. We believe this gives our customers confidence in the provenance of our products and in the ethics of our business.
